The implementation of AI technology in the field of agriculture.

AI technology offers significant benefits in agriculture, such as detecting plant diseases, pests, insects, locusts, and determining appropriate treatments. It captures data on vital parameters like pH levels and nutrient supply, allowing farmers to make informed decisions. AI-driven organizations provide farmers with relevant information on weather conditions, optimal seeding times, and even employ AI drones for precise insecticide spraying. This technology also reduces manual labor involved in crop monitoring and maintenance. Additionally, AI platforms supported by space tech can issue weather warnings to farmers. However, the complexity of seasonal weather forecasts still requires human expertise.

While AI is currently assisting farmers, the question remains whether it will replace some of them. It's worth noting that AI adoption tends to be higher among the more affluent farming community, potentially creating a technology gap. Farmers who are not technologically adept may face challenges adapting to high-tech agricultural practices. If labor is gradually replaced, it could lead to an increased reliance on migrant labor over time. On the other hand, the "Digital Agriculture Mission of 2021-25" initiated by the Union Government of India may pave the way for a much-needed Second Green Revolution in India, improving agricultural efficiency and profitability.

Considering both perspectives, I would appreciate hearing your opinion on the matter of agricultural upskilling.
