"The recently launched budget-friendly Apple Pencil is designed to provide pixel-perfect precision, low latency, and tilt sensitivity, making it an ideal tool for tasks like note-taking, sketching, annotating, journaling, and more. It boasts a matte finish and a flat side for magnetic attachment to your iPad, enhancing the capabilities of iPad users."
The new Apple Pencil offers the same inking features as previous generations, along with compatibility with the iPad (10th generation) and other USB-C iPad models. It will be available in India for Rs 7,900 in early November. This update expands the Apple Pencil lineup to three models, with the Apple Pencil 2 remaining the top-tier option.
The Apple Pencil 2nd Generation remains the premium choice.
In contrast to the Apple Pencil 2nd generation, the new Apple Pencil uses a USB-C port for charging instead of wireless charging. This change is part of Apple's strategy to offer a more affordable model at Rs 7,900, making it the most budget-friendly Apple Pencil to date.
It's worth noting that the new model lacks certain features present in the second-generation Apple Pencil, including pressure sensitivity, wireless charging, and auto-pairing.
The second-generation Apple Pencil maintains its status as the leader in terms of specifications. It features functions like double-tap for tool switching and seamless wireless pairing and charging, which are not available in the first-generation Apple Pencil or the new USB-C models.
