Adani Enterprises led the turnover chart with a Rs 27,17.34 crore turnover, followed by Adani Ports at Rs 2,382.62 crore.
Reliance Power, Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd (JP Power), YES Bank Ltd, Vodafone Idea Ltd, TV19 Broadcast, and Punjab National Bank Ltd (PNB) featured prominently in the volume chart on NSE during Wednesday's session. Meanwhile, Adani Enterprises Ltd, Adani Ports, Adani Energy Solutions Ltd, Adani Power Ltd, and Adani Green Energy Ltd from the Adani group dominated the turnover chart on NSE.
Adani Enterprises claimed the top spot on the turnover chart, recording a turnover of Rs 27,17.34 crore within the Adani group. Following closely was Adani Ports, registering a turnover of Rs 2,382.62 crore. Adani Energy Solutions, Adani Power, and Adani Green reported turnovers of Rs 1,353 crore, Rs 1,253 crore, and Rs 1,216 crore, respectively.
HDFC Bank, a private lender, saw a turnover of Rs 1,018 crore, while Adani Total Gas Ltd, another Adani group share, surpassed the Rs 1,000 crore mark by 10:30 am.
Reliance Power experienced a 0.22% increase to Rs 22.35, with a trading volume of 6,05,21,144 shares worth Rs 135 crore. Meanwhile, YES Bank shares declined by 0.26% to Rs 19.55, witnessing a turnover of Rs 94 crore with 4,78,57,439 shares changing hands on the counter.
JP Power witnessed the exchange of 4,78,36,387 shares valued at Rs 65 crore, experiencing a 1.11% increase to reach Rs 13.70. TV18 Broadcast Ltd posted a 2.39% gain, reaching Rs 53.45, with a total turnover of 4,62,26,541 shares amounting to Rs 250 crore. Vodafone Idea recorded volumes of 3,85,67,130 shares valued at Rs 50 crore.
JTL Industries Ltd faced a 5.6% decline, settling at Rs 203.20, with 3,47,51,637 shares worth Rs 691 crore changing hands. GTL Infra shares remained unchanged, with a total of 3,02,31,798 shares amounting to Rs 3.32 crore traded so far. Higher volumes were observed in PNB, JP Associates, HCC, Adani Ports, Adani Power, and Suzlon Energy among other stocks today.
