Market sentiment remains cautious, with Vinod Nair, Head of Research at Geojit Financial Services, noting that consolidation has dominated since July due to trade tensions, weak earnings, and foreign investor selling. However, the RBI’s optimistic stance on domestic growth and early signs of easing inflation offer some comfort.
Nair advises investors to track global trade developments, corporate earnings, and inflation data closely, while focusing on consumption-driven sectors that may weather volatility better.
