Suzlon Energy Q4FY26 Profit Falls 6% Despite 45% Revenue Surge; Company Achieves Record Wind Deliveries

Synopsis : Suzlon Energy reported a mixed Q4 FY26 performance as revenue surged sharply due to strong execution and record deliveries, while net profit declined slightly year-on-year. The company also posted its highest-ever annual wind energy deliveries in India and maintained a strong order book for future growth.


Suzlon Energy Q4FY26 Profit Falls 6% Despite 45% Revenue Surge; Company Achieves Record Wind Deliveries



Suzlon Energy reported a 5.74% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit during Q4 FY26. Profit stood at ₹1,114 crore compared to ₹1,182.22 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year. Despite the dip in profitability, the renewable energy company delivered strong top-line growth during the quarter. Consolidated revenue from operations jumped 44.91% year-on-year to ₹5,468.06 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹3,773.54 crore reported during Q4 FY25. On a sequential basis, Suzlon reported a sharp recovery in earnings performance. Net profit rose significantly from ₹445.28 crore reported during Q3 FY26, while revenue increased 29.32% quarter-on-quarter.


  • Strong FY26 Financial Performance


For the full financial year FY26, Suzlon Energy reported net profit of ₹3,163.39 crore, compared with ₹2,071.63 crore in FY25.


Annual revenue for FY26 stood at ₹16,679.11 crore.


The company stated that EBITDA during FY26 increased 63% year-on-year to ₹3,022 crore, while EBITDA margin improved to 18.1%, reflecting stronger operational efficiency and execution.


  • Record Deliveries Drive Growth


Suzlon achieved its highest-ever annual wind energy deliveries in India during FY26 at 2,456 MW. Quarterly deliveries also touched a record 830 MW during Q4 FY26, highlighting strong project execution momentum. The company’s order book stood at approximately 5.9 GW as of March 2026, providing strong revenue visibility for upcoming quarters. Suzlon added that nearly 66% of its order book came from public sector undertakings (PSUs) and commercial & industrial (C&I) customers. The company also highlighted the strong success of its S144 wind turbine platform, which has now secured cumulative orders of nearly 9 GW.

Girish Tanti stated that the world is entering the “age of electricity,” where energy security concerns are accelerating renewable energy adoption globally. He noted that India’s rising peak power demand is increasing the strategic importance of wind energy within the country’s energy mix. Ajay Kapur said the company’s healthy order book provides strong revenue visibility going forward and highlighted the achievement of record annual deliveries during FY26. Rahul Jain stated that Suzlon ended FY26 with a net cash position of ₹2,384 crore, reflecting a healthy balance sheet and improved financial stability.

Suzlon Energy currently has a global installed wind energy capacity of 21.7 GW across 17 countries. The company’s installed base in India stands at over 15.7 GW, with an additional nearly 6 GW installed internationally. Its turbine portfolio includes advanced wind turbine platforms ranging from 2.x MW to 6.x MW capacity series.
