Lumino Industries made a strong debut on the exchanges. The stock listed at a 34.15% premium at Rs 110 on the NSE, while it was listed at a 32.93% premium on the BSE at Rs 109. The company had set the IPO issue price at Rs 82 a share.
The strong listing comes after significant investor demand for the Rs 700 crore public issue.
The company raised Rs 700 crore through a combination of a fresh issue of 6.10 crore shares worth Rs 500 crore and an offer for sale of 2.44 crore shares aggregating to Rs 200 crore.
The IPO bidding period began on August 27 and ended on August 31, while the allotment was finalised on September 1.
Lumino Industries IPO: Retail investment and lot size
A retail investor had to apply for a minimum of one lot comprising 182 shares.
At the issue price of Rs 82 per share, the minimum investment required for a retail applicant was Rs 14,924.
The strong listing means investors who received allotment at the issue price saw a substantial gain on the first day of trading. However, post-listing performance can differ significantly from the initial listing premium.

Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors was the book-running lead manager for the IPO, while Bigshare Services was the registrar to the issue.
About Lumino Industries
Lumino Industries is an integrated engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company in India, focused on manufacturing and supplying conductors, power cables, electrical wires and specialised products for the power transmission and distribution industry.
Incorporated in 2005, the company also manufactures high-temperature low-sag (HTLS) conductors used in transmission and distribution lines.
The company operates through two key segments: Manufacturing and EPC.
Its manufacturing business covers aluminium conductors, power cables and electrical wires. The EPC business includes power transmission and distribution, EHV substations, HTLS re-conductoring, railway electrification, solar power projects and water management projects.
What investors should watch after the listing
The strong debut puts the spotlight on Lumino Industries’ ability to sustain its market valuation after listing.
Investors will now be watching order inflows, execution, manufacturing capacity, margins and the company’s ability to convert its public-market capital into business growth.
The use of fresh IPO proceeds will also remain important. A significant portion of the fresh issue was intended for debt repayment, which could help strengthen the company’s balance sheet.
At the same time, a strong IPO listing does not guarantee continued gains. The stock can remain volatile as the market establishes a post-listing valuation and investors assess the company’s future earnings potential.
Conclusion
Lumino Industries made a strong stock market debut, listing at Rs 110 on the NSE, a 34.15% premium over its Rs 82 IPO price. On the BSE, the stock listed at Rs 109, representing a 32.93% premium.
The Rs 700 crore IPO attracted strong demand, with Rs 500 crore raised through a fresh issue and Rs 200 crore through an offer for sale.
With its presence across conductors, power cables, electrical wires and EPC projects, Lumino Industries is now entering the next phase as a listed company.
The key question for investors will be whether the company can translate its business operations and IPO-funded plans into sustained earnings growth after the strong debut.
