India

India, officially known as the Republic of India, is a country located in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by land area and the second-most populous country in the world, with over 1.3 billion people. India is bordered by Pakistan to the northwest, China and Nepal to the north, Bhutan to the northeast, and Bangladesh and Myanmar to the east. To the south, it is bounded by the Indian Ocean.

India is also a nuclear power and a member of various international organizations such as the United Nations, World Trade Organization, and BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa).
