Versace has established its presence in Mumbai by unveiling its inaugural boutique within the Jio World Plaza, as announced on Instagram by Jio World Plaza. Described as "sleek" and "opulent," the 195-square-foot boutique showcases a comprehensive collection of ready-to-wear attire and accessories for both men and women. Reflecting the distinctive Versace brand identity, the boutique incorporates ceramic, wood, and golden metal accents.

The interior design features blue carpets, velvet seating, and La Greca marble flooring across its floors, according to an official release. Jio World Plaza, owned by Mukesh Ambani, stands as India's largest luxury mall in the prestigious Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai, opening its doors on November 1, 2023. The mall offers an array of services, including VIP concierge, wedding arrangements, porter services, and a curated selection of luxury brands.

Reliance Industries, the property owner, charges high rents, with Louis Vuitton paying a monthly rent of Rs 40.50 lakh for its space and Dior contributing Rs 21.56 lakh for a 3,317 sq ft area. Versace joins other international brands at Jio World Plaza, where 66 globally renowned brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, Valentino, and Steve Madden have established showrooms. Additionally, notable brands like Balenciaga, Rolex, Cartier, Bulgari, Jimmy Choo, Tiffany & Co, Versace, Bulgari, and Pottery Barn have opened their first stores in India within the mall.

Furthermore, the shopping complex hosts a variety of renowned designers, including Manish Malhotra, Rahul Mishra, Falguni and Shane, and Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. Actress Alia Bhatt's children's clothing brand, Ed-A-Mamma, also has a pop-up store within the mall.
