Indian stock markets opened Wednesday's session on a cautiously optimistic note, with both Sensex and Nifty edging up slightly in early trade. The Sensex rose by 100 points to open at 81,594.50, while the Nifty climbed 0.28% to 24,890.40. The Bank Nifty followed suit, opening at 56,310.10, up 0.16%, reflecting a balanced sentiment across sectors.
