Pine Labs Bulk Deal Actis Sells 0.86% Stake Worth Rs 152 Crore

Mauritius-based Actis Pine Labs Investment Holdings has sold a 0.86% stake in Pine Labs through a bulk deal worth approximately Rs 151.6 crore.

According to exchange data, the investor offloaded 98.28 lakh shares on June 19 at an average price of Rs 154.25 per share.

The transaction marks another partial exit by Actis, which has been an investor in Pine Labs since 2018.


Actis Trims Stake in Pine Labs

Actis Pine Labs Investment Holdings sold 98.28 lakh shares, representing around 0.86% of Pine Labs' equity.

The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 154.25 apiece, taking the total transaction value to approximately Rs 151.6 crore.

Actis first invested in Pine Labs in March 2018, committing around $82 million to the digital payments company.

The selling entity, Actis Pine Labs Investment Holdings Limited, is a Mauritius-based special-purpose vehicle established by UK-headquartered private equity firm Actis to hold its investment in Pine Labs.


Pine Labs Share Price Performance

Pine Labs shares have remained largely unchanged over the last five trading sessions.

The stock has gained around 7% over the past month, indicating some recovery in investor sentiment.

However, the broader trend remains weak. The stock has declined more than 34% over the past six months and is down nearly 39% over the last one year.


Pine Labs Reports Profit in Q4FY26

Pine Labs reported a strong improvement in its financial performance during the fourth quarter of FY26.

The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 59 crore, compared to a net loss of Rs 29 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Revenue from operations increased 17% year-on-year to Rs 701 crore, up from Rs 599 crore reported in Q4FY25.


FY26 Sees Sharp Turnaround

For the full financial year FY26, Pine Labs reported revenue of Rs 2,711 crore, representing a 19% increase from Rs 2,274 crore in FY25.

The company also achieved a significant turnaround at the bottom line, posting a net profit of Rs 113 crore compared to a net loss of Rs 145 crore in the previous financial year.

The improvement reflects stronger operating performance and continued growth in digital payment adoption across merchant networks.
